The Richmond Dental and Medical team is on the trade show circuit again, building relationships with dental professionals and distributors in the US and worldwide. Two big shows on the winter bill are IDS Cologne and the Chicago Dental Society’s Midwinter Meeting.

The dental industry has a long history of gathering at trade shows to learn about the latest trends affecting the industry, future predictions from industry thought leaders, and networking with large collections of dentists, dental assistants and hygienists, office support staff, and leading manufacturers of instruments, and equipment.

Richmond Dental and Medical, one of the oldest dental suppliers in the world, has long supported the dental community by attending shows like IDS Cologne and CDS Midwinter, educating dental professionals about supplies, and offering samples and show specials its award-winning, innovative products, including Braided Cotton Rolls, the Path-O-Guard® Face Mask, SteriPockets®, Reflective Shields Plus®, and 100 percent cotton nonwoven sponges.

Taking place March 12-16 at the Koelnmesse Fair Grounds, IDS Cologne is a bi-annual international dental show, the leading global trade fair and industry event for dental professionals, dental dealers, and the dental industry at-large. At the show in Germany, the content focuses on dentistry, as well as infection control, clinical maintenance, and communication, information, and organizational systems. The event also showcases a career day, which provides information for aspiring students, graduates, and young professionals.

Richmond Dental and Medical will be exhibiting our award-winning products at IDS Cologne in Hall 4.2, booth G-81.

CDS Midwinter took place February 21-23 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. One of the storied events of the domestic dental show calendar, the 2019 gathering marked the 184th gathering of the American dental community in the Windy City. Richmond Dental joined more than 600 suppliers at CDS Midwinter, as attendees enjoyed an array of more than 200 continuing education courses, workshops, lectures, and patient demonstrations. Nearly 29,000 attendees converged in Chicago, including over 6,600 dentists, over 4,100 hygienists, over 2,800 assistants, and over 2,000 office personnel.

The first day of CDS Midwinter coincided with the Dental LifeLine Network’s Every Smile Counts Day, a day of awareness and fundraising to meet the dental needs of the elderly, as well as those with disabilities and people defined as medically fragile. Richmond Dental and Medical continues to be a proud supporter of Every Smile Counts.

Between now and the end of the year, Richmond Dental and Medical will attend several more domestic dental shows, beginning with a pair of summer events: CDA Anaheim in May and DEO Dental Group in June. This September, we will head to ADA/FDI San Francisco and Dental Group Forum Nashville, with ASA Orlando coming in October. We will wrap up our dental show excursions in December with the Greater New York Dental Meeting.

Rest assured that the Richmond Dental and Medical team will be coming to a city near you in 2019 and beyond. We enjoy working with the American and global dental communities to ensure that dental professionals are up-to-date on the latest products and clinical trends.
